AI Hiring, Onboarding and Training for Trades and Services

CyberGipsy automates the mechanical parts of hiring and onboarding: job adverts written and posted, applicants screened and scheduled, documents collected, and a role-specific training path generated from your own procedures. Hiring decisions stay with humans, and we build in bias controls.

Definition. AI hiring and onboarding automation covers sourcing, screening logistics, document collection and training delivery, leaving evaluation and selection to people.

The problem this removes

  • You post a job, get eighty applications, and read none of them properly.
  • Good candidates go elsewhere because it took nine days to arrange an interview.
  • New starters learn by shadowing whoever is least busy.

What we actually build

  1. Role definition

What the role actually requires, in the language candidates search with.

  2. Advert generation and posting

To the boards, groups and channels that work in your specific city.

  3. Screening logistics

Structured application, knockout criteria that are genuinely job-related, instant scheduling.

  4. Structured interview support

The same questions for everyone, scored against defined criteria.

  5. Document collection

Right to work, licences, certifications and references, chased automatically.

  6. Onboarding path

Week-one plan generated from the knowledge base, per role.

  7. Training and refreshers

Short modules from your own procedures, with comprehension checks.

How the install works

Five steps. Nothing here is a workshop.

  1. Define the role properly

Most hiring failures start here, not in the interview.

  2. Automate the logistics

Speed to interview is the single biggest lever in a tight trades market.

  3. Structure the evaluation

Same questions, same scoring, recorded reasons.

  4. Automate the paperwork

Everything with a deadline is chased by the system.

  5. Generate the training path

New starter productive faster, without occupying a senior person all week.

What changes, in numbers

Honest ranges from installs of this type. Your baseline is measured during the diagnostic so the comparison is yours, not an industry average.

What AI will not do here

Automated candidate scoring is legally sensitive and we treat it that way. In the EU, automated decisions with significant effects on people are restricted, New York City requires bias audits for automated employment decision tools, and similar rules are spreading. Our default is that AI handles logistics and structure; a human makes every hiring decision and records the reason. We do not build systems that rank candidates on inferred personality, video expression or demographic proxies.

AI Hiring, Onboarding & Training: questions we get asked

Does AI decide who gets hired?

No. It removes the logistics and enforces a consistent process. Selection is human, documented, and defensible. That is both an ethical and a legal position.

How do you avoid bias?

Structured criteria defined before applications arrive, identical questions, scoring against job-related evidence, and no inference from names, photos or video expression. Where the law requires an audit, we build for it.

Can it write job adverts?

Yes, and posting to the right local channels is often the bigger win. In many of our cities, the trades hire through community groups and referrals rather than through job boards.

What about work permits and visas?

Document collection and expiry tracking are automated. The legal assessment is not, and must stay with a qualified adviser in each country.

Does onboarding really need automation?

For a company hiring twice a year, no. For one hiring monthly with high churn, it is one of the highest-return systems available.

Can training be in another language?

Yes. Procedures generate into the crew's language, which in most of our cities is not the language of head office.

Is ai hiring, onboarding & training your highest-return system?

The audit ranks every automation by return for your specific business. Most companies discover the answer is not the one they expected.
